Editor's
Note
The
horizon of CPD's activities
as a civil society think-tank
has broadened manifold
over the years since its
establishment in 1993.
In its endeavour to stimulate
a demand-driven and multistakeholder
owned policy making process
in the country, the CPD
has been engaged in a
wide range of activities
including research, policy
dialogues, policy advocacy
and networking. In recent
times, CPD has been increasingly
feeling the need for a
newsletter which would
enable its collaborators,
partners and well wishers
to take note of CPD's
activities on a regular
basis.
The CPD Quarterly is expected
to highlight the Centre's
completed and ongoing
research activities, acquaint
the readership with CPD's
dialogue and publication
programmes and inform
about participation of
CPD core persons in current
and forthcoming events
at national, regional
and international levels.
CPD
will welcome any suggestions
towards improvement in
terms of both presentation
and quality of the CPD
Quarterly.
