The certificate distribution
ceremony of the Trade Policy
Appreciation Workshop, organised by
Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD) in
collaboration with the Centre for
Trade Policy and Law (CTPL), Ottawa,
was held at the CTRDAP Auditorium in
the city Thursday State Minister for
Foreign Affairs Reaz Rahman attended
the ceremony as the chief guest
while Robert Beadle, head of
Development Cooperation, Canadian
High Commission, was present as
special guest. M Syeduzzaman, member
of CPD Board of Trustees and former
Finance Minister, chaired the
session. The three-day (January
27-29, 2004) workshop, fourth of its
kind, was participated by 40
professionals from various
ministries of the government,
academic and training institutions,
trade bodies, media, and NGOs and
civil society organisations (CSOs)
involved in trade-related programmes
and activities, says a press
