Dialogue (CPD),

professionals who are interested
to pursue an intellectually

1.
Research Fellow
The candidate will be a
mid-level researcher, desirably
below 40 years of age, having a
PhD in Economics (any
specialisation) or an advanced
academic degree in Economics or
related subjects from a reputed
foreign university and having an
academic (research/teaching)
experience of at least five
years. The salary for this
position is in the scale of Tk.
30,000 - 1,500 x 10 - 45,000 -
2,250 x 6 - 58,500, with
incentive bonuses and other
admissible benefits. Higher
compensation will be considered
for eminently qualified
professionals.
Non-resident Bangladeshi
scholars who would like to work
in Bangladesh for at least one
year are encouraged to apply.
2.
Senior Research Associate
The ideal candidate will have a
Post Graduate/Masters degree in
Social Sciences including
Economics, International
Relations, Public
Administration, Finance,
Statistics or Business
Administration. At least three
first divisions/class in
relevant subject or a minimum
CGPA of 3.75 is required. The
successful candidate for
Senior Research Associate
will have at least two years of
effective service experience in
an academic position.
Requirements may be relaxed for
candidates with foreign degree
and/or significant
publications. S/he will work as
a member of the core research
team at CPD. The position
carries an initial gross salary
of Tk. 18,000 per month, other
admissible benefits and
incentive bonus.
3. Research Associate
The candidate will have a
Post Graduate/Masters degree in
Social Sciences including
Economics, International
Relations, Finance,
Statistics or Business
Administration. Four
first divisions/class in
relevant subject or a minimum CGPA of 3.75 is required
which can be relaxed only in the
case of (a) publication in
recognized a journals, or (b)
foreign Masters degree or (c)
specialized job experiences. The
candidate will have Excellent
report-writing and analytical
skill and Computer literacy. S/he will work as
a member of the core research
team at CPD. The position
carries an initial gross salary
of Tk. 13,000 per month, other
admissible benefits and
incentive bonus.
4. Programme Associate
The candidate will have a
Masters degree in Economics,
Statistics, Business
Administration or other Social
Sciences (International
Relations, Public
Administration) with at least
three first classes or CGPA of
at least 3.50.
CPD will offer a consolidated
remuneration of Tk. 8,000-10,000
per month for Programme
Associate position. Programme Associates will be expected to provide
support to the core research and
dialogue teams at CPD.
5. Research Intern
The candidate will have a
Masters degree in Economics,
Statistics, Business
Administration or other Social
Sciences (International
Relations, Public
Administration) with at least
three first classes or CGPA of
at least 3.50 / two first
classes. Those awaiting Masters result
may also apply.
An allowance
of Tk. 5,000 per month will be
offered to an Intern. Interns
will be recruited for 2-3 months
initially and based on their
performance, they may be offered
the post of Programme/Research/Dialogue
Associates at CPD. Interns
will be expected to provide
support to the core research and
dialogue teams at CPD.
Essential:
Good analytical abilities,
excellent drafting skills in
both Bangla and English, strong
communication skills and high
computer literacy. Should be
willing to work under pressure
in a highly competitive
environment.
