Designation  : Executive Director of Centre for Policy Dialogue and Professor, Department of Accounting and Information Systems, University of Dhaka.

Last Degree Earned   : Ph.D. in Economics from Moscow State University. 

Areas of Interest   : Trade sector performance, backward and forward linkages, trade policy analysis, export competitiveness issues including technology, exchange rates and incentives, regionalisation and regional economic cooperation in South Asia, foreign aid, globalisation and its multidimensional implications for Bangladesh’s external sector performance.
